In December 2006, Regence informed patients and providers that The Boeing Company arrived  at a decision not to implement the Regence Select Network.

This decision was a great victory for patients and physicians.  A collaboration of union officials, patients and physicians succeeded in delivery a message to Boeing and Regence that while Pay for Performance and Quality measures are beneficial, economic profiling of physicians is not.
